People of the mansion, brownstone, and various other living situations -

LET IT BE KNOWN:

I've rented an island for all of spring break. I did this on the off chance that people might want to go to it, but it no one else does, me and my ladybird can have the whole thing to ourselves. And I'd be okay with that. But it's kind of a big island and there are multiple housing opportunities and it's tropical so. If you want in, let me know. And make sure your passports are up-to-date. Or that you've purchased enough fabric to appease Skittles, Goddess of Instant, Worldwide Transportation because I totally don't mind hiding you beneath the floorboards if, for some strange reason, random authorities decide to stop by and look at everyone's paperwork.

How do you even live in the same world as the rest of us where you can just rent an island under an assu...

no, wait, if I wanted I could rent an island under an assumed name, I would just then owe people a lot of money or favours for a very long time, and it would not be nearly as large of an island.

If we get stranded, I am making you build a coconut radio.

Oh, coconut radios! I'll make you one of those, anyway, even if we're not stranded. Like a potato clock, only better. Lots of sun and coconuts. Spring break's never looked so good.

So glad I am not the only person here who reacts this way to people buying houses and renting land masses at the drop of a hat.

Where do I sign up for this world of lavish luxury?

I know some merc companies who'd like a 'have bag, will travel' doctor on the payroll. And you obviously don't mind being in war-torn countries, so y'know.

No ethical questions there.

Depends on the Mercenary company and their code. Don't make too many judgements based on Hollywood movies

What about judgments based on knowing Wade?

[identity profile] x-wallflower-.livejournal.com 2014-03-18 02:42 pm (UTC)(link)
Before or after he graced us with his illuminating if slightly mad presence?

[identity profile] x-barrier.livejournal.com 2014-03-18 02:47 pm (UTC)(link)
After. But he tells me stories.

I know nice merc companies! I've got a friend who's in charge of one that's in the Congo at the moment.

Think I'll pass. Despite my complaining, it is about more than the money.

[identity profile] x-deadpool.livejournal.com 2014-03-19 12:47 am (UTC)(link)
I figured.

[identity profile] x-wallflower-.livejournal.com 2014-03-22 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, but it's the Congo. They have leeches in the Congo, and malaria.

[identity profile] x-deadpool.livejournal.com 2014-03-18 03:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Definitely not. I can totally give you their contact information!
