Midnight shopping is oddly underrated. There was seriously no one at the store just now. That said, my mission was a success - there are now a dozen cartons of eggs in the kitchen. I don't care what your thoughts are on age-appropriate Easter activities are, I'm dying 144 eggs and hiding them all over the grounds on Sunday. Whoever finds the most gets a prize. Prize is yet to be determined but I'm taking suggestions.

Also, thanks to Lorna, there'll be food other than dyed eggs.

I got like ten different kinds of dye. I'm pretty sure at least one of the packages said something about gel. If not, I'll go pick some up. I've only ever seen fancy eggs on magazine covers and stuff.

That is a lot of dye. Send me a phone pic, and if it is not the right kind, I will stop at a craft store, they always have all kinds of food dye in the cake area.
