Halloween Announcement

Okay, people of the mansion. I have an announcement. That announcement is... we're having a Halloween party this coming Saturday. It's at Stonewall, the horse farm near here. There will be vehicular transportation for those of you who don't feel like walking, of course. Entertainments include but are not necessarily limited to:

- Hayride of ultimate awesomeness
- Bar (you pay to drinks, dudes - organized by Adrienne Frost)
- Food (also arranged by the lovely McFrosty)
- Dunking for Apples
- Gourd ghosts (painting involved)
- Pumpkin carving
- Corn maze (as being prepared by the talented Miss Callie Betto)
- Face painting

Credit where credit's due - Callie's handling the pumpkin growing, too. The gourds are from a farm place and come pre-dried. I'm pretty sure if you guys ask nicely, the people at the farm will let you ride a horse. Or a pony. Or something.

Costumes required.

Go forth, mansionites. Discuss. Shop. Attend. It will be pretty sweet.

Warren Worthington, I require your presence at the masquerade hayride. Be there or be square. Square is not good, by the way.

I will be attending. I have an excellent costume already decided upon. Those who wish to ride over, I will be driving the van that is used for the weekend city trips, so there will be plenty of room.

I was considering making it a surprise. But eh bien. Do you watch the television show The Tudors? I will be attending as Henry VIII. All jokes about Britain and France may now commence. It is unfortunate that Amanda is traveling, I am sure she will have some for when she returns.

So if someone asks you, are you going to explain that you are actually Henry VIII, Rock Star? Because that is what that show is really about. It is about a Henry VIII where he was young and handsome and not fat. I mean orca fat, not just simply "I had too many pizzas" fat.

His being young and handsome in that show is the only reason I am considering this costume. And the fact that Jonathan Rhys Meyers wears leather pants extremely well.

Do you have the DVDs? May I borrow them from you in exchange for agreeing to not call you names over text message for one week and also buying you dinner or lunch somewhere in the city? Because it is just that when I travel for work I often do not have access to my Netflix account and I am not certain it is on Netflix in the first place.

I believe that one can obtain the DVDs through their mail service, but it is not on their 'watch instantly', or whatever it is called. And of course you may borrow the DVDs when you travel.
